After a week in MN we made the switch to Iowa and celebrated Christmas with my side of the family. Drew got spoiled and enjoyed playing with his cousins. He did great on the plane rides and car rides to/from the airport. He only complained when having to put his big, heavy winter coat, hat, and mittens on, proving him to be an Arizona boy.

Smiling through his first sled ride.

Getting ready to go....

Living in Arizona, we always wish for a white Christmas when we go to MN/IA....well we saw one this year! We got in on over 20+ inches of snow. Along with that we also got -30 degree temps which was not so nice. We wanted to "play" in the snow with Drew, but the frigid temps didn't allow for much fun play. We did take him out once for a little sled ride with Daddy behind the 4-wheeler. It was a short ride with it being so cold, but he did smile through it all.

We had a great Christmas vacation. We drove to Kingman, AZ on Thursday, December 17 and spent the evening with Jordan and Jessica. They then drove us to the Las Vegas airport where we flew out Friday afternoon to see Justin's family for a week in MN and then my family for a week in IA. Thankfully we managed to not travel during the storm and made it to all destinations safely. We had a great time and of course it went way too fast as vacations usually do! Here are a few pictures from our MN part of the vacation.
